The aim of the National Federation of Hungarian-Israeli Friendship Societies (MIBT OSZ) is to promote the deepening of friendly relations between Hungary and Israel, and to familiarize the Hungarian communities with Israel’s culture, history, economic and scientific achievements. The association coordinates the activities of friendship societies in more than 20 cities, which build bridges between the two nations through lectures, cultural programmes and twinning.

The organisation is not only a forum for those interested in Israel, but also actively works to dispel prejudices and misconceptions, promoting tolerance and dialogue. It works closely with Israeli and Israeli cultural, religious and scientific organisations and promotes the development of business, educational and diplomatic relations between the two countries.
